Scalability and The Currrent Focus of The Team

-We are currently (as workers) accessing UIv1 ( current User Interface, the website) , there will be a night and day difference after April 28th when UIv2 will be released and all of the problems will be non existent anymore.

-All members of the team are aware of the current hickups and bugs of the UI and working their hardest to both implement new features to UIv2 and also fix some crucial problems in UIv1

-These problems include Connectiviy Tier bugs which are caused by the immense amount of Speedtest nodes which are clogging up and casuing inaccurate information.

Improvements on Transparency

-Ambassadors will play a big role in handing out messages and news from devs and io team. These will include current downtimes and services, also providing clearer information to supporters.

-They are hesitant to open the network (from hiring end) to the public because of security concerns, after they ensure that docker containers are safe and secure in all ways, then they will implement public hiring services.

-There is also a Bug Bounty program which people can take rewards if they find any vulnerabilities or bugs in the system, contributing to the progression of UIv2.

-Lawyers are being hired to assure no regulations will be in the way after TGE and IO.net will be a completely legal operation.

Concerns About Missing Cards and Demanded Memory Amounts

-AMD cards are not performing as well as NVIDIA cards because of software differences between two brands. NVIDIA has a much more stronger core and better translation to power in AI applications. That's why they are not expanding the requirements.

-When it comes to having the sufficient memory, 8 GB is definitely not enough and will not be supported in the future (very soon). The team is recommending at least 16 GB of RAM to ensure a stable data transfer and efficient work balance between nodes.

-Especially for the Macs which have less ram than 16 GB, unfortunately they will also not be tolerated when the network expands and demands tightens.

Quality of Life Updates and Critical Announcements

-The support and ticketing system is getting redone by the team and it will be able to server much more people, more efficiently at the same time. It will be moved from discord to somewhere else.

-IO.net still needs more Ambassadors to grow the community in a more controlled way, so feel free to ask admins about the requirements and qualifications of being an Ambassador and keep working hard!
